United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) - Youth Ministry at Nardin Park is all
about allowing youth to come together on the common ground that is our
foundation in Jesus Christ. We are all different with our own thoughts and
opinions, but we come together to share in fellowship with one
another and know that we are loved and accepted regardless of
those things. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we meet to
help each other in balancing the “doing” with “being”
as we work to become stronger disciples of Christ.
Our purpose is stated clearly in Romans 12:4-5: “Just as
our bodies have many parts and each part has a special
function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are all parts of
His one body, and each of us has different work to do. And
since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other,
and each of us needs all the others.”
We all need support in living our lives the way God wants us
to. Our weekly meetings on Sunday evenings
are the
heart of our ministry and an opportunity for all youth to grow
closer to each other and God through fun and fellowship with friends.
We welcome all 6-12th grade youth with a seeking heart to join
us as we meet to support each other in our walks and build
ourselves and each other into the disciples God wants us to be.

UMYF
UMYF is the heart of our youth ministry and an
opportunity for Middle and High School youth to connect with
each other in a loving, safe environment. Whether meeting
together or separately, we explore what it means to live life
as a Christian and how to better serve God in our day-to-day
lives through discussion, music, games, movies, and worship.
While our Sunday night meetings are the heart of UMYF,
events like concerts, retreats, and lock-ins are also
provided to add to our experiences and stretch our
faith and understanding of God.
