Sunday School
Young Children: A paid nursery attendant in the crib nursery,
supported by volunteers, assures parents and child of a trusting
environment and a loving church. Inquisitive toddlers and delightful two
and three year olds experience the message of God’s love through
trusting, volunteer caregivers and teachers. A pager system provides
confidence for parents that they will be notified of a need during a
worship service. Church school curriculum and lessons begin at the
three-year-old level. Two year olds have a take-home paper to share
stories of God’s love with their family. Rooms for crib through age
four are located on the first floor. Rooms for children in Kindergarten
through grade 5 are located on the second floor.
Elementary Children: Kindergarten through Grade 5 begin in the
sanctuary for congregational worship before dismissing to their
classes. This provides the children a worshipping experience with the
congregation before attending Sunday School. Children’s Worship Bags
are available.
Once per month children are dismissed to the Children's Worship
Center and are introduced to the theme and music for that month in
Sunday School. They return to the Sanctuary to participate in Holy
Communion with their family.
