Special Christian Education Programs
Special programs occur throughout the year and provide additional
opportunities for children to come together for a specific purpose of
learning and outreach.
Family Together Events
Christmas Eve will see the children presenting
angels, shepherds, Mary, Joseph and the babe at the altar as the
Christmas Story is retold.
Easter Party and Egg Hunt is a time to make
Easter projects, dye Easter eggs, meet the Bunny Lady and look for
Easter eggs on the church lawn.
Kids At the Park Vacation Bible Camp, in the
second half of June, is always a unique experience and a highlight of the
year for everyone involved.
Kids Care Club for fourth and fifth Graders,
provides focus, food, friends and fun!. Whether sleeping in a tent in
the church backyard or sorting food baskets for the needy, these
once-a-month hands-on activities provide friends, food, focus and fun!
Share and Care opportunities are planned
throughout the year to help children experience the fulfillment of
caring for others. Collecting for UNICEF, providing mittens and socks for the
Warm Fuzzy Tree or bringing food for the hungry give children a lesson
in love as well as supply needs for others.

Methodist Camps offered by the Detroit
Conference of the United Methodist Church offers a variety of
camping programs for all ages throughout the state of Michigan .
KIDS HOPE USA is a partnership with Lanigan
Elementary School in Farmington Hills and Nardin Park that offers a
mentoring program for children.
