What is the Sunday Service like?
Sunday morning worship is at 10 am and features a mixed style of informal/formal dress, traditional/blended liturgy and the use of multimedia. Both a hymnal and a song book are used.
Do you have a Nursery and a Children and Youth Sunday School?
Newborn-toddlers, two-year-olds, and 3&4 year olds have special age-appropriate rooms on the main floor. Two-year-olds and older have special guided learning experiences each week. Kindergarten-12th grade have classes as well. See education: Children’s and Youth sections for more details.
Will I be singled out as a guest?
Relax. You are not asked to stand to be recognized or even to wear a name badge. We would appreciate your providing us with your name and address on a Friendship Folder that is available in the pew. We like to follow up with our guests to thank them for coming. Guests are also invited to stop by the Welcome Center adjacent to the sanctuary after worship to receive a warm welcome, a special gift, and a cup of coffee or tea.
Will I be expected to give money?
The ministries of Nardin Park UMC are financially supported by voluntary contributions of its members and friends. We do not expect a contribution from our guests.
